The Clermont Hotel's Old and New Management Get Heated
After seven months of filming the life of The Clermont Hotel, the business in its current form closed for good on the last day of 2009. The new owners and manager arrived over the past few days. While a transition was unavoidable, suffice it to say it went less than smoothly . The personalities of the outgoing and incoming managers led to a clash that has to be seen.
We are now concentrating our work mainly on the Lounge and what the future holds for it. That and loads of surrounding interviews and filming of life on Ponce de Leon Avenue.

Hiya Allen,
Can’t wait to see “the clash” at The Clermont Hotel. I’ve been down for the count for a couple of weeks but just realized I didn’t reply to your msg. about any memories I might have of the time I sang there. Unfortunately, it was so long ago that all I remember is the name of our group and that it was on a Saturday. Oh yeah, I wandered upstairs into the hallways of the rooms and saw a guy at the other end of the hallway shooting up! How do I view your production?????
Hey Charlotte, still may be interested in getting you on film with that little bit. We’re looking for quick nuggets like that. Any and everything.
We’re still working on it, but are hoping to be done filming soon and begin the editing process. Spring? I hope.
Have you thought of speaking to Huckleberry? He has been a fixture at the Clermont for years and would probably have tons of useful stuff for you.
Saw him there the other night. I’m gonna talk to him, definitely.
Because of this…….. I may become……….some kinda-Son-A-Ma-Tina!
