I'm
a staff photojournalist at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution--plus
a freelancer and commercial photographer--based in the heart of
the South: Atlanta, Georgia, USA. I also have a small concentration
of work in the even-more-south of Central America.
My work has been published in various U.S. and international media.
A report on Central American adoptions ran as a cover story in Facts,
one of Switzerland's largest news magazines. Photos of pro cyclist
George Hincapie accompanied a profile of the racer in TOUR, Europe's
top cycling publication. And while working as a staff photojournalist
at the Athens Banner-Herald newspaper, I was honored with a few
industry awards for a series on the emergence of gangs in north
Georgia. I am a graduate the University of Georgia's Grady College
of Journalism and Mass Communication.
With the support of The Rory Peck Trust, I completed a Hostile Environments
and Emergency First Aid Training course from Centurion Risk Assessment
Service.
